I'm presently busy with a research that will lead to a later piece called "IOVIODIO". IOVIODIO means 'I hate you all.' Being at the beginning of the research, physically, with the use of the breath, naturally or innaturally connected with the dance. we talked about 'cellular agitation', entropy, molecules that vibrate differently but constantly, in a constant wave of motion, generating in this way movement through their being very close to each other, shaking together and through the togetherness. We talked and experienced a sort of 'flame, fire' agitation that never extinguishes. ONGOING HIGH ENERGY.
IOVIODIO wants to put a brick in the possibility to construct a choreography that does not have the obbligation to entartain, please, guide and rassicure the audience. At Danslab I search for specific tools and ways to answer to my urgent need of re-appropriation, as an artist, of the 'right' to deeply criticize the reality, through her/his creation. I'd like to reach the possibility to allow myself to build a language capable to create and give voice to an ethical, political piece.

Elements for IOVIODIO
We would like to share and discuss the three main elements that defined themselves during the process as the core of our research:
- The molecular agitation: constant movement/constant noise. Intensity makes the impact?
- The relation with the public and the accusation to the audience. The text, the breath, the movements, the "stones". Relation between rage and signs. Primitive and contemporary.
- Transmission of complex, detailed, vibrating vocabulary. "Emphatic movement, emphatic process". Systems of Relations in an open and fluid environment.

- IOVIODIO will enter in the phase of production by the end of November at Danswerkplaats Amsterdam. Première will be February 12th 2010 in Melkweg Theater of Amsterdam.
